We are proud to have a fantastic team of talented, dedicated and passionate teachers and choreographers from very diverse backgrounds. It takes a good teacher to teach to dance, but it takes a GREAT teacher to inspire and to teach to FEEL.
Elena
Creative Director, Teacher of Piano and Music Theory
Elena was born in Latvia and completed a degree in Music Theory and Composition. She has over 20 years experience in teaching, critiquing and composing music. Together with her younger daughter, Lana, Elena has been involved in several dance studios overseas and has been exposed to the various styles of dance. She has a strong passion for creating performances using carefully selected music, characters and dance. In 2009, Elena and her family migrated to Sydney, where together they started L.I.K.E. Dance Studio.
Elena plays a pivotal role at L.I.K.E. Dance by running all operations, liaising with the key stakeholders, teaching, as well as directing, producing and managing all performance programmes.

Lana
Acrobatics Coach, Dance Teacher and Choreographer
Lana has been dancing and practising acrobatics since the age of 5. Lana has practised various styles of dance, including hip-hop, jazz, rock'n'roll, lindy hop, lyrical, contemporary and classical ballet. Lana has received a number of awards, including in Australian national championships, as well as international dance competitions. In 2016 Lana received a Choreographer of the Year award at KAR Australia dance competition in Sydney.

Katerina
Dance teacher, Choreographer
Katerina has been dancing for over 20 years and has been teaching since age of 15. When she was 9 years old she started dancing - jazz dance, show dance, hype dance (new jack swing), disco and hip hop dance. She has numerous awards in international dance competitions.
Her motto is: "What is Love? Dance... is my llife, music is the rythm of my life, dancefloor is my world ... I try to be better everyday: Every dance teacher has to improve knowledges and we have to learn all life. We have to learn many dance styles and our average of experiences will be wider. We have to be patient and very hard-working!"

Eli
Dance Teacher, Choreographer
Eli grew up in Queensland, training at the Australian Dance Performance Institute (ADPI). Eli has shared the stage with iconic Australian artists, including Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton John and Tina Arena, as well as international artists Shym, Yanis Marshal, RuPaul and Ke$ha.
Eli has been seen on TV programs, including X Factor, So You Think You Can Dance and also a featured dancer in Baz Luhrman's "The Great Gatsby".
Eli performed a leading role on a Sydney Showboat for 3 years before he was asked to move to France and join the most famour cabaret in the world, the Moulin Rouge. During his four years in Paris Eli has honed in on his teaching and choreography (and French) skills. Eli has held dance classes at Studio Harmonique in Paris and Sydney Dance Company in Australia.
